Default What harness do I need for my Bravada

I have a 1999 bravada and I am wanting to out my single din JVC radio in it, but I do not know what harness I need to order. It has the stock radio not OnStar not Bose. It has steering wheel controls & it has Retain Accessory Power (RAP). Every harness I find is not compatible with rap. What would happen if I used the harness that isn't compatible will it just not have the features or will it just not work entirely

I don't think there's a special harness for that at all. I've used two different harnesses in my '01 Jimmy that has RAP also, one was Shosche/EFX the other was a Metra harness. Nothing special about them at all and the RAP works without issue since it's controlled by the BCM and not by the factory unit.

Since you don't have Blose or Onstar any harness should work just fine. You WILL need an adapter/input control module for the buttons on your steering wheel to work with the JVC but that's not part of the harness that adapts the factory to the aftermarket. Well, except that you'll want/need to hook the adapters power up to the +12v switched power wire and ground so it can power up and work.
