that is the memphis power reference series...it says it on the magnet. With those if you run sealed your gonna want to run between .75^3 and 1^3. Likewise, if you want to run ported, you want to have the enclosure at 1.25^3
Memphis Enclosure Chart
^^^the model you want to look at is the 15-PR10D4

and those specs are just general numbers....usually a bigger box equals higher effeciency and increased output...I will be giving my 12" type r's 2.5 cubes each, quite a bit more than alpine recommendations....just food for thought....

Okay I am way out of my leugue here and I will say that but I am not getting it.
15-PR10D4
0.65 / 0.82
1.25 / 1.50
1.25 / 45 / 10.5 x 1.25 x 16
I have 2 subs and have no clue on the voice coils at all. I am saying that the numbers are cubic feet of air space right?
Also would ported or sealed sound better in your opinion?
The radio shops around me want 3 to 4 hundred dollars to make a custom box and I am not in it for the bass to bust windows and all that stuff I just want when a good song comes on to make it sound like I am in the bar listening to it. Does that make sence?
I am 33 years old with 4 kids so I am not looking for a 18 year old kid system at all nor do I wish to put 3 to 4 hundred dollars in a box to take up space in my truck. But when I had the tv's and radio installed in my silverado the guys understood all that and got it right the first time but they are in Texas and I am in Iowa so this is why I am asking and valuing your oppinion on this and I really do appriciate the help I really do.

if you want a good sounding enclosure.....here is what you can do. Go to Home Depot / Lowes, get asheet of 3/4" MDF (usually around $20 depending where you live), build a 2cubic foot sealed enclosure. It will sound good and not cost $300-400.

Ok I like the ported choice so what I am seeing up here is I need 1.25 cubic feet of air space for 1 speaker correct?
and would I want 4 ports in the box or 2 or the one with slots?
Me building a box could be done however I am affraid I will mess something up or it will look to cheap. I can do engines all day long and upholstry but just don't think I am ready for the build your own box step from scratch. I can follow prints but I can not draw anything but sticks....lol
