Whats right for me?
i made a 5 cubic foot enclosure using that program and it worked good, everything fit anyway. just make sure you make it deep enough for your selected driver, wouldnt wanna put it together only to find they dont fit....type r's have a rather large motor on them...
cant say ive ever heard of them using sand, but polyfill, yes. that fibreglass insulation dealy stuff.
the sand seems like such a bad idea unless it solidified, obviously its making the internal size smaller, but beyond that i have no idea....maybe bob, or hillbilly knows....

My current setup is 1 12" Rockford Fosgate P2D412 and a Rockford Fosgate Prime 500W RMS Amplifier. It's in a small bandpass (ported) box, and it is so loud that I frequently have to turn the music off. Two 15's set up right would be super overkill. And it would cost a lot of money. I suggest a setup like mine. The amp is $200 and as far as I know it is by far the best amp anywhere near 200 bucks. The sub is sick as well, I bought it because the JVC Arsenal sub I had blew, and it was rated 100 watts RMS higher than the sub I have now. It wasn't as loud as my new sub, and it cost like 100 bucks more.
Let me know.
