ya, these guys are all about the louder the better. dosent have to beear drum shattering loud to sound good.

it all depends what YOU want your music to sound like......
also on what type of music you listen to. everyones giving you options on personal preference, which is all they really can do, you just gotta go listen and see what sounds best to you.......

although the "hype" R's on the herc would be a good bang to buck ratio. it will be LOUD, prepare to upgrade speakers, speaker amp and deadning, wiring, and possibly battery/alternator, if you see fit.

Well I want to go with a hifonics bxi 1606d I think it is with 2 kicker cvx 12" subs. I just dont want to have to upgrade wiring through the car for speakers and have to get a capacitor or upgrade alt. Will this be an issue?

well, don't get a capacitor. they're worthless IMO. I'd go with the excessive amperage alt's.

here you go. this is one i found on ebay. it's a 180 amp ohio generator alternator. comes with a voltage regulator, and i think it's a pretty sweet deal.

you wont HAVE to have an upgraded alt, but it definatly helps. if you really want Xblazer01 made a thread to calculate how many amps your pulling, im sure you'd be fine with just the 1606.

get dual 4 ohm CVX's and wire it down to 1 ohm on the amp and get all 1600 watts

Will the 4ohm cvx's be able to handle it at 1 ohm and the way it will be wired?

yes they will deffinitely handle it, they could probably take a little more too. i've got around 650w on each of my cvr's and i know they can take more.

Also, you really don't have to upgrade your alt. it wouldn't hurt but it's notcrucial. I'd recommend maybe adding a second battery in the back i.e. a stinger, optima etc. that will help keep a more stable voltage especially at night..
