I have had great success with my intrepid fans. Except that time that my controller box melted down.

Yeah I've had so-so experiences in the past with fan controllers, the type that use the probe in the radiator core, on two of the past vehicles that I converted to electric fan. On this truck I'm going to go another route and use a temp switch in the passenger head to be the ground interrupt in the fan circuit so it should be a little more reliable, no computer control to it

Well after rain most of last week, and a weekend on the beach with the misses for our anniversary I'm back at it. Popped the manifold apart for some cleaning. Taking the upper and lower half to work tomorrow and going to pressure wash them. Cleaned up the spider injector assembly and got it ready for reinstall.

Every day I love my job just a little more this came in an 04 today. Good dash bezel, good turn signal switch without rubbed off cruise button lettering, and a NICE steering wheel WITH FACTORY RADIO CONTROLS! I'll be hooking them up to an aftermarket interface for a pioneer deck. Grabbed the clock spring too which will be needed with it for the controls wiring.

got the intake back together this afternoon, ready for install tomorrow!

while I had the throttle body off, I went ahead and did the throttle blade mod

also cut the original mounting brackets off the Intrepid fan and mocked it up on the radiator. after the intake gets installed and the RTV is curing, I'll probably fab up the brackets to hold it in place

still can't believe how snug this thing fits!
