Thanks for this Don, I was looking at the diff to pitman arm and drag link clearance and thought it would be pretty close. I definitely need to trim more on the side there. Hopefully I can trim that bit off while the diff is still in tomorrow.
Be very carefully doing so, there isn't much left. Some have gone too far. I drove it for so long that the nipple dented it. I installed a none greasable end there, and packed the life out of it before I installed it, it clears. Not ideal for maintenance, but its holding up.
I might shave the 3/16 or so needed for the clearance at some point... might not lol, all depends on how much it effects geometry and clearance. So far so good.
Yup, that would have been me too probably if it wasn't for you lol. I ended up dropping the diff again to make the cuts. I checked and it's really tight but seems to clear anyway I put the tie rod so I think I'm good now! Got the upper control arms in today and it's looking more like a truck again. Also got some 75w-90 to top off the front diff tomorrow, I haven't checked the level but I am quite sure it will need a top off. The new passenger tie rod will sadly have to wait because the threads in one side of the new sleeve were all messed up and it royally messed up the threads on both tie rod ends when I tried screwing them in that end. So the old one goes back on for a week or so until the new one arrives. Going to feel much better after the torsion bars are back in, you see I got the torsion bar loading/unloading tool and assumed I would have the socket to tighten it up, well come to find out it's a big 1" socket and I don't have one!
Lol that sounds about right. Got the diff juiced up this morning. Drank almost all of the 1qt bottle. Now I pretty much have everything together that I can and I’m just waiting on that socket so I can load up the torsion bars. Decided to just get a tie rod from lordco so I should get that later today and install it tomorrow too.

Regarding the brake lines and ABS sensor wires, be sure to test how you have secured them with the wheels turning from full right to full left.
When I did my lift with the just the upper control arms, I messed up and one of my ABS sensor wires got frayed due to abrasion.
I was able to fix it with soldering, heat shrink tubing and then self-adhesive silicone tape.
BTW, that silicone tape, often found by the brand name "Rescue Tape" is great!

It looks like those upper ball joints don't have any grease fittings. Is that the case?
Be sure to get the information on what the replacements are for the ones you got from RC. They've changed what they have used over the years.
Thanks Christine, I’ll check the wires and lines when I get working on it again. To answer they do have grease fittings it just has a little cap that pops over the whole top of the ball joint that maybe they didn’t have before?
