Default 1984 Chevrolet Silverado K10 Mud Truck Project

It is my 1984 Chevrolet Silverado K10. It going to be my off-road truck! It have a 350 in it right now.





Now working on body work. Pictures of the process from March 2, 2013.

looking good so far. IMO id loose the stacks unless u plan on swapping in a diesel.

Why? What wrong with the stacks? I think it turns out pretty good. Hope I wasn't making this truck looks stupid.

i agree with Rock buggy...stacks should be on diesels, pouring shade out of them.
plus, gas motors need some back pressure, and i would imagine that you dont have cats on that thing.

looks like its already set up for mud. i never do any body work to any of my mud trucks i always end up bouncing off trees or rocks and causing more damage, most i do is change my doors when they get so mangled they wont work anymore.

good choice on trucks, very easy to work on and very reliable. my first was a 84 k5 blazer on 35s wheeled that truck for like 4 years til it fell apart

Twip pretty much said it. even on diesels, unless its not a tow rig or constantly pouring black smoke, it just looks stupid and useless. but if you would like to keep the stacks and swap in a diesel, you got one of the best trucks for a swap.
