Thanks Jason. I will have to do some investigating. Does anyone happen to have a pic of what its suppsoed to look like?

Worked a little on the stereo today. As you can see the truck bed lining is all finished. It looks great. There are a few little areas I need to touch up but thats not a big deal. Ive decided to put 8" subs in the kicks. Eventually the 6" and the tweet will be in custom pods on the doors where the pockets are now. The kick panels are designed to be stepped on without any damage. I ran out of glass so the enclosure you see is only fleece with resin on it. Once I get more glass I will be strengthening the enclosure for heavy duty wear and tear. They will also be covered with truck bed liner and grilles will be installed over the subs. You can also see the VERY early stages of my custom center console Im working on.

I don't know exactly how it attaches to the shock. If they come that way new, or if you have to put the terminal around it. I don't ever have to use my rear defroster.

Here is how it's attached at the glass end.

come to think of it, I dont think I even have a defroster in my rear glass! I will definitely have to double check, but I dont ever remember seeing the defroster elements in the glass. SOB!

So next week I am going to a SharePoint class funded by the govt. I will be making a $650 profit just by going. That is going to fund my new exhaust (replaces the 22 year old exhaust). Im getting the dynomax catback + walker intermediate pipe + new cat (not sure which one yet. If you have any recommendations for an OE replacement cat, let me know. Remember, I dont know how, nor have access to welding so I need bolt on stuff.

Small update without pictures. I just replaced the tranny pan gasket for a 3rd time (second time I forgot to put the filter back in - DUH!). It doesnt seem to be leaking anymroe - YAY!. I also replaced the fule filter - PITA!!!! I cant understand why chevy decided to put it in the engine bay behind the powersteering pump. Also changed the front disc brake pads. Cranked the blue beast over this afternoon after pouring in some new tranny fluid and it started up without a problem. My check engine light doesnt come on anymore (it used to come on for a few minutes then it would dissapear until you put it back into park). It doesnt sound like its occasionally misfiring anymore. And it idles almost like a dream. It hasnt died on me at all when going from reverse to drive like it normally does. Im very happy with the results. Now I just need to replace that damn exhaust.
