Thats a factory one. dont know how much difference there is between first gen and 2nd gen. i dont think much. they welded that stuff in then cut out where the driveshaft would droop. im going to be ditching the leafs im running and go to the longer 56" dakota leafs. once i do that ill finally get to doing my trans crossmember. im going to be doing mine out dom tubing. i want to work in doing some protection, since we play in rocks alot more then mud.

I do not have a build thread. im horrible when it comes to pics...lol. i get so impatient that i dont think about it.

I guess they kinda look the same but mine is made from bent tubing . they welded that stuff in then cut out where the driveshaft would droop. (quote) Thats what I was thinking I would do . If I can get to it today I'll get it done . I have to tear the injector pump off our tractor and take it to get rebuilt . I just got back from trying to get the tires changed and it was a no go , his machine wouldn't open wide enough to break the bead . But I'll take a picture of my home made bead breaker and my tire machine , its just not as wheel friendly .

i know what ya mean, projects are never ending...lol. so much stuff i need to get done on the blazer, leafs, crossmember, rock sliders, and fit the winch into the bravada bumper. On top of that, my wifes truck is in line to get a body swap and trans swap. truck i got as a donor for v8 is a 3 door ext cab, in a helluva lot better shape then our beater. her truck seen some rough days offroad before we got it.

We had a hard time tracking down a shop to do our tires for us, too. Your probably gettin real anxious!..haha

Default Tire machine & tires on blazer

This is my home made beat breaker .

And heres my regular tire machine .

And here she sits with the 35s it looks pretty cool .

And I already have the injection pump off the tractor , so I think since the weather is nice I'm going to try making the cross member .
And heck yea Skotti I can 't wait to be done , but I'm in no particular hurry though . And you are right about the front springs they are to weak . Can I add a leaf to the existing springs or do I just have to get the 44044s ? The 44044s are 200 bucks a side new and I don't really have the cash to do that right now unless I have no choice .

Tires look small though, you should cut the fenders and get some 44's... lol
