Yea I have a straight pitman arm ( no drop ) and tie rods go in the bottom right now . But I could flip them to the top and get a drop pitman arm and that would help , It drives pretty well untill you hit a bump then hold on cause its anyones guess where shes going , safe enough for the mud pit but not a chance on the road .Someday I would like to be able to drive her on the road again , heck my buddy Jordies truck has rockwells and he had it on the road , had school bus rotors on the front and rear , disk brakes . Does your blazer have alot of bump steer ?

Nice check out this baby I just traded my rocket for it , its a 79 highboy with a lift kit and 38 inch thornebirds , so now I have two sets .

I can't believe he traded , we took the truck for a ride through the mud pit tonight , its kinda gutless compared to my 302 . And this is a big block , I think it needs a serious tune up .

Very nice, i dont mind those older ford trucks. with 38s probably needs some better gears. tune ups never hurt either.

Skotti when I traded for the truck it was muddy and dark outside so I didn't really get a good look at the truck , the whole truck was covered with mud . But I washed it tonight and wait till you see the pictures , I got myself a good deal . Somebody spent some money on the lift , Its friggen nice , and I figured being a NY vehicle it would be rusty and about junk , but it is beautiful , I don't even want to drive it in the mud anymore . I was thinking of using it to tow my blazer around .

Today I washed my mud trucks , it took all day . The last time we were in the mud pit I broke the rear shackle on the 14 bolt , and this is the warmest it has been since . Now that I have her all cleaned up I have to fix the spring perch and once again throw another u joint in her . And I still haven't bought the parts for the rear disk brake conversion , so still no brakes . Once my tax return comes I'll solve that problem , for now I'm only doing the rear because I think I'm going to buy a different front end that has disk brakes already , or just go for it and buy the deuce and a half's that I really want . Been researching the heck out of 4 link and coil over shocks for the blazer , who knows whats going to happen .
