Default 1997 4 door Blazer SAS Project.

I am currently in the process of swapping a Dana 30 out of a 91 YJ and a Ford 8.8 out a 99 Explorer into my Blazer.

I know the D30 isn't the strongest for the front end but I only paid 300 for both of the axles.

I am using the ORD kit and thinking about these leaf springs for the front https://www.4wdfactory.com/store/pro...ngs-%28Pair%29

What are some good options for shock absorbers and leaf springs for the rear?

I am going to probably start with 33" inch tires and go from there.

*I do have some pics but there isn't much exciting at this point, it is mostly just the axles sitting in the back of my truck.

I'm in the process of collecting parts for my swap now. Im going with full size chevy leaf springs for the rear, with rancho adjustables for chev half ton. Going to have to fab a bracket to mount the top tho.

i would just use the stock leaf springs in the back and do an add a leaf and shackles. not sure how big the tube is on the axle but spring over will get you 2-3" add a leaf maybe get you 1-2 and shackle just depends. plus tire. im on 38.5s with spring over and add a leaf.

or just run chevy 63" springs and redo the spring mounts. they are very flexy, look at km346ss build he did some changing in springs on his truck. KM346's build: the refrigerator - Page 3 - S-10 Forum

I have made contact with him and it sounds like he should be accepting orders for ORD kits pretty soon. But I have to wait until next week to get enough funds to order the kit anyways.
