Post 1998 Chevrolet Blazer Build

Hello everyone, I am starting a little late posting this build thread. When I got my blazer it was completely stock. But here it is now. I will be posting pics from all my modifications from stock to how it looks now.

This was my blazer when I first got it completely stock

Next was the subs and amp I picked up from my preacher for $100

Then a few weeks later I got a new Kenwood headunit

Next was the new tires Goodyear Wrangler Radials

This is after testing them and they are absolutely great tires. I will always get Goodyear from now on.

Next I moved the spare to the cargo area and got new shocks

Then I painted my skidplate

I got lucky helping my grandma clean out her sisters basement and found a Cobra CB Radio

I had to purchase a new antenna though

Next I got some Cragar wheels 15X7

Next I bought a thrush glasspack muffer DO NOT ATTEMPT TO INSTALL IT YOURSELF IF YOU ARENT EXPERIENCED I attempted to install it myself witht he clamps and ended up having to get it welded it but it sounds great

Then I painted my front grille black

Then finally something broke, I had parked it in my backyard for an hour or so then tried to crank it and it wouldnt start, but long story short, the fuel pump was bad and had to have it fixed $500
This is my buddy pulling it out of the back yard so the tow truck could come

looking good so far.
yeah these rides love munching on hubs and fuel pumps.

with that spare in the back you might wanna consider mounting up a wheel carrier off a two door.
its not too hard or to expensive.

Yeah I was thinking about getting a tire carrier but I dont like the fact that i will have to swing it out every time I open the back. And what do you mean by munching on hubs?

He's saying the front hubs go bad frequently on these trucks.

Thanks, is there anything I can do to prevent them from going bad? And I sure hope its not expensive if they ever do.
