Update --- 3/30/2013
today i did a few things to my Blazer
1) Replaced the antenna with a 7" shorty
2) Repainted my Rear Bumper Gloss Black
3) Added my Red Stripe Kit on the Body
4) Threw on some Xtreme decals also
5) Painted the Rear Hatch Outer Pillars Gloss Black
The New Bumper and Xtreme Valance have been purchased off Ebay and im waiting for them to arrive ... they will be the next items i install on my truck
Then after the front end is done
1) GMC Jimmy Mirrors painted to match body (just like the style and want my Blazer to be different)
2) Remove Roof rack
3) 3" drop in the rear --- 2" drop in the front
4) ZQ8 Rims n Tires
I still have the rear/front fender flares to install yet on it but im gonna wait until i can get 2 new doors outta the pick n pull ( both are dented up) and is easier to replace them than try to do body work
Here are some pics i took today

Looks good sofar, I personally do not like the x-treme body kit. But i really dig the effort you are putting into this.

Thanks Rich
the town i live in has alot of Xtreme Blazers and Pickups running around ... so far ive only seen 1 person do the conversion and that was on the S10 website i believe and his Blazer was White in color .... having a Black one looks more aggressive plus its all about ones individuality and what you want ... i dont mind spending the money on my truck ..

My opinion: So far your doing great man. Your future plans 1. I would really like to see Jimmy mirrors. Really cant remember from my many vacations from the wife to pick ur part. Post some pictures. 2: Roof rack was the first thing ditched on my 4dr. I first used button head screws with thread sealant. When they rusted, they were replaced with stainless. On the drop I think you must have typo as three rear and two front sounds backwards. I tried two/ two now Im gonna redo to 3.5 front and 3 rear. 4. ZQ8 rims Now that will be period correct! If you black them out it would look real nice
with a red pin stripe but ZQ8 rims need to be shown. I would do some photo editing first to see which YOU like better.

Trick n LeWhite
Thanks guys for the compliments, its come along way since i first started this project last year with what i wanted my Blazer to be ... Individuality ... is the key word
Pics of mirrors to compare ..
1) standard Blazer mirrors .... that were all familiar with
2) GMC Jimmy mirrors that are power/heated just like in my blazer
I saw a pair that had been painted gloss black and they stood out on the Jimmy it was on so i decided that was what i wanted for my ride also
as for the drop from what i have read from guys posting in the Lowering Forum 2 inches will be what i can get once i back the bolts out of the front and 3" lowering blocks on the rear leafs ... without doing a whole lot of damage to the 4x4 on it ... my truck has never been offroad and i dont ever plan on doing any of that since its my daily driver ... eventually the suspension parts will start to wear at a faster rate and will have to be replaced and when that time comes Ebay will be the place ill buy new suspension for the front end
LeWhite --- do you have the sizes for the screws you used once you took off the luggage rack? .... im thinking of taking the stock bolts off and cutting them down with a dremel and getting them close to flush with the top of the roof and repaint them gloss black before i reninstall them
The ZQ8 rims are gonna stay stock and they will set my Blazer off right with looks ....
this weekends project is White Faced Overlays for the Instrument cluster and install my second set of Cerwin Vegas in the rear doors .... Woohoo !!!!

Update -- 4/4/2013
Completed my Cerwin Vega speakers install in my Blazer today .... Vega 65X 6.5 Coaxial speakers in the Front Doors ... Vega 2525 5 1/4 speakers in the Rear Doors
The sound is AWESOME even with the crappy GM stock CD Radio in it ... going to order the Ceramic Tweeters to install in the Dash area to complete it ... might throw in a 8 or 10 inch Subwoofer in the rear area somewhere

Waiting on my White Faced Guage Overlays and my bumper/xtreme valance to arrive yet ... Hopefully by this weekend

Update --- 4/7/2013 --- White Faced Guage Overlay Install
Did my Instrument Cluster today with White Faced Overlays ... didn't have to remove the needles on the install kit and only took about 2 hours to do ... not to shabby for $24.00....
