Nice! Ran across this post today and love it! I was planning something very similar to this with my blazer! Love the pick n parts finds, i've been hunting my local yards for Xtreme parts with no luck for the past couple of months. I think I might have to suck it up and start looking for new ones.

Keep us posted man, I deff want to see what this ends up looking like.

Oh and I got the 4th Gen F8 Firebird 5 Stars for mine. Can't wait to get them put on next weekend...!!

I have 295/50r16 tires on the Rear and 235/65r16 tires on the front ... am waiting on the 245/55r16 tires to come in to go on the front.

Parts ordered awaiting delivery = New ZQ8 Steering gearbox, 3' Drop kit, Power Performance Tie rod adjuster sleeves (inner/outer tie rods, Idler/Pitman arms), Slotted/Drilled Rotors, Brembo Front Brake pads, Power Stop Rear brake pads, Stainless Steel Brake line kit, New Front Hubs


Ill post more pics after Christmas once everything is installed.

Because of the longer wheelbase of the 4dr the rideability will greatly benefit fron the 12:1steering box. You can also have a larger torson bar installed inside the box.

 

What did you have before you picked up the side piece with the cargo cover? I've contemplated removing mine, but can't seem to find any of these without the cargo cover.

It was just a plastic molded piece the same shape as the one with the cover but not having the actual cover in it .... I have seen tons of them in Pick n Pull junkyards as that is where i got mine with the cover ..they are available on Ebay also

since you mentioned you live in a town with alot of xtremes running around you would be an amazing person if the next time you're at the junk yard you checked for some blazer bumper end caps

Haha im having such a hard time finding some.
