upgrade to a post 2002 fuel injection system, msd coil, wires, and multispark controller. Headers, roller rockers, maybe different heads and intake manifold.

This is a pic of the energy sway bar bushings recently installed. The old ones we thrashed and the bolts were completely rusted. I uses a torch to heat them up and vice grips + a wrench to break one bolt off. The other bolt I ended up just cutting the head off with a dremel. The energy bushings dont come with a tall enough spacer so I picked up a few 3/8 washers at home depot and used those in between the cup washers that were supplied. I immediately noticed a tighter front end. A well spent $15 that took about an hour to complete.

Driver door pins. I purchased these on amazon along with a spring compressor. If you dont wanna drop $13 on another tool you can try this method 1AAuto.com Install replace door hinge spring Chevy GMC Truck SUV - YouTube
I liked the tool, it made it much easier. Be sure to mask off the door and front qr. Once the pins are out the door moves a lot. Get 2 people to do this job that way someone can hold/wiggle the door while you hammer out the old pins and bushings and hammer in the new ones. I used the old pins as a punch tool along with a hammer to get the new pins/bushings in.
