Pretty much the same way. Hammer it in until it's where it needs to be and then bolt/rivet it in place.
If you're worried about the paint/damaging it, you can put a block of wood between your hammer and the piece.
Also, (and this should be obvious) you'll want to make sure anything that connects to that piece is on a jack/stands before you try to remove/reinstall this piece.

I just ended up taking it to the body shop. They cut it in half and pulled the old one out, then cut the new one in half and welded it back together once it was in place. I also threw the Bilstein shocks that came on it from the wrecking yard. Way better than the Ranchos on it. Ill post some pics later.

Looks really good!

Got the new to me leaf springs all done and the energy bushings in. I had to take out the old metal bushing outer seal for the bigger eye and leaf the small eye in. Hopefully I can find time soon to put these in.

Got the new front shocks installed. It rides WAY better. Whoever did the original lift didnt cut the a arm back enough and the arm had hit and dented the previous shock. I trimmed it a little more and installed the new shock.
Well see in the next few weeks if I find time to put in the new leaf springs and rear shocks.
