Default 2000 blazer zr2 sas and engine swap

Hey guys this is my first post on here i have a 2000 blazer zr2 i have for my first vehicle and i want to do a sas and a engine swap on it. Ive done lots of reading already but i want some people opions on my build. Note that i am only 17. I have a cousin that has a wrecker yard i can pieces from. So what is a good axle to get ive read a dana 44 would be good to use. And i seen that lots of people use the ones from the jeeps but if he doesnt have one of those ive read the 1974-1993 ramcharger had the dana 44 can i use that? I plan on doing a leaf spring set up so what would be a good vehicle to get them from? And same with steering components? Basically im hoping someone could help me put a list together on what all i would need to do a sas. Also i know you can buy kits but i am a very mechanicly inclined person so how hard would it be to build mounts? Maybe someone could help me with a diagram or something? Or maybe post some pictures on how you did it. I want to try and keep tge cost low if i can. But i can get axles and leaf springs and steering components from other vehicles i just want to know how hard it is to build the leafspring hanger to make it sas or whether its possible or if i have to go buy a kit, thanks hope to hear a response.
