TBI is obd1. trying to convert a obdII vehicle to OBDI will get confusing. it is easier to go the other way I to II.

Why not stay mpfi and get a vortec 305/350. it will be alot easier swap. i believe your ecm can be reprogrammed to run your electric fans and to run a v8 with mpfi. You will only have to add 2 wires to you existing harness to run a vortec v8.

Forget the 305 period. Not worth the hassle.

i agree dont waste the time with a 305. Go with a vortec 350. Also do a search, this has been covered many times
