If you have your spare tire mounted on the back I wouldn't worry about the rear wiper. When it is working the only thing it will do for you is let you see that spare even clearer. As for the headlights, try cleaning them up first rather than replacing them, unless you like the look of something not stock. 2" lift shackles are cheaper than the overload springs, but the springs will let you load a bit more weight in the back. Last but not least, I have a pewter grill in perfect shape I'll swap you for the cowl hood...lol

I also have a 5.3 LS waiting to go in my Blazer, but my 4.3 is still running strong at 300k miles. No since doing the swap until the 4.3 dies as is has done everything I've ever needed it to.

Lol, you are right about the wiper letting me see the spare tire clearer. As for the headlights, I do like that smoked look that aftermarket lights have.

That's great to hear about the 4.3 still running strong. Mine has 231K on the clock and still runs strong, I had a worry about not knowing how much time is left on the engine, but if you can get yours to 300K there's no reason mine won't with proper maintenance.

Let me think about the hood swap, they are $99 at the junk yard for stock hoods. If I do change it out, it's yours, otherwise it will just sit there until I send it off to the scrap.

Don't scrap the hood! It will pay for the parts hood and give you beer money!! I REALLY didn't want to sell mine, but the price was worth it...
