Default 2001 Jimmy mods

Hey all, I'm new around here and I'm looking for some advice and guidance. I have a 2001 GMC Jimmy with the 4.3 I want to lift it and get some good tires and rims on it and I just want to know what things to take into account and pretty much get some direction.
I was thinking of 3 inch body 3 inch suspension lifts and 33 inch tires. Thanks all.

Welcome. 33s are hard on front end parts! Ask me how I know lol. 3" body, lift keys and shackles, extra leaves from a k10, lots of trimming and set the rear axle back about an inch and a half. 35x12.50x15 swampers on 2wd swirl wheels.

A popular mod that takes 31s is the Rough Country 2.5" lift.

I’ve got a 4 door I hunt with. Had new tires so I’ve not messed with suspension. I couldn’t bring myself to spend 20k on side by side.

Plasta dip base black then regular spray paint lol

Cool paint job!

I hear ya on keeping our Blazers instead of putting down big bucks on something that doesn't do things much better. Last fall I found myself going up old roads that I doubt many full sized trucks could easily negotiate because our Blazers are smaller.

Skinny trail that got skinnier.

Looking back at space I had to get around a locked gate! A full sized truck would have slipped off to the left and gotten high-centered.
