It really comes down to what you want and how you are going to use the truck.

It would be a toss up for me. If it were purely a vehicle for me, I would go manual. If anyone else had to ever drive it, I would go automatic.

Personally, I'd love a 6spd, but like kyle said, if anyone else had to drive it, like your wife, then it'd be auto.

I'm 24 single and i wouldn't let my wife drive this anyway lol wouldn't matter if it was an auto or not...

I think it'd be more fun with a six speed. Just the fact you're more connected with the brute of a V8 under the hood.

So its official now 6speed T56 with a heads and cammed 5.3L. I have to get another harness and get the computer reflashed for the manual tune. Cool deal.... My buddy is in good with a local machine shop and he said that if i throw down like 5 bucks i can use their media blaster so i can get the prep work on the valve covers and all the other parts. Then i'll get the paint done.
