I have ab 89 s10 blazer with a 4.3 motor. The problem is the motor is tired, it smokes, and idle rough...i dont think it will last much longer. Any how my past car was an 89 formula firebird with the tpi 5.7l motor. I have the drive tran from that car, and i want to do a quick swap into the blazer. I want to see if anyne has done this before, i want to take the tpi intake off the 350 and put an eldbrock tbi intake manifold on it and just put the 4.3l tbi system on it. Im well aware that doing this will make the motr run lean and wont have its full potental. I dont have the funds to purchase a wiring harness to keep the 350 tpi or buy the computer for that matter. very low buget build. I know im going to need a different oil pan, motor mount kit and i will have to switch to an electric fan. So in a nut shell, i want to know if the 4.3l tbi carb will be able to feed the 350?
