Default '77 lift kit

Hey all. I have a '77 blazer for my first car and my dad and I put a 4" lift on it. My dad says it rides a little stiff in the front and is considering going with some soft ride leaf springs but i don't think it is that intolerable. Any way, i was wondering if there is any easy fix for it without buying a whole new set of springs. If anyone has any input it would be much appreciated. Thank you.

I have owned and lifted many 73 through 91 full size Blazers and Suburbans. I will guess right now that you guys probably replaced the front leaf packs and installed blocks in the rear didn't you? This results in a new "stiff" front suspension and a 30 something year old "soft" rear suspension that just sits higher. If you guys want to spend anymore money, I would recommend new rear leaf packs to compliment the new front ones. By the way, you did install new shocks right?

we actually got the lifts off of a donor truck, im guessing it's a 76 1/2 ton chevy and the rear is on blocks. And yes, we suited it with all new ranchos so there is no problem there. and as far as the new packs on the back, im not any rush because i personally like that raked up front end.

B.T.W. what size tires can i run on it? We are planning on staying with the original ratios on the diff's
