Shazam! Looks great!

So long as the added leaves don't have a lot of arc to them they wont add any lift to it. Old Ford 1/2 tons had fairly flat springs, and are the right width. The back looks a little lower, but the camera seems to have distorted the image a bit(front tire looks bigger than the rear too).

Thanks :) yeah the back is lower by about an inch and a half. Will the flat leafs still not add 1/4 of an inch lift for each one I add?

Thanks again diaita... if you ever decide to get rid of those finder flares let me know lol

You will add a 1/4" for each leaf, but if you replace several with heavier, flatter leaves, you may be able to even lower it a bit. Two thinner leaves (3/16") will have a far lower spring rate than one thick(3/8").

I'll sell you the flares! $6000, and they come with a Blazer! :D

Might want to add shocks before you make any changes to the springs... you might find it rides pretty good with soft springs and the right shocks.

very true I would look for a good gas shock

Ahh I see what your getting at now, and wow that really isn't too bad of a price for your blazer lol.

KM you have a good point its extremely bouncy and boat like without shocks.

The passenger side is abit weaker than the drivers side... for some reason is was also like this from the factory seems odd... my shackle angle is a 5 degree difference (drivers side is 70 passenger is 65) now since the springs have settled... should I re do it or leave it be. It has flexxed out, and neither one hit the frame, but you can for sure notice the passenger side being abit more soft.
also any suggestions for shocks my max budget is 300 for all 4, and I will probably upgrade down the road I need 14 inches of travel on them also. I have been searching for some all day, and all thats doing is making me more distraught on my choice lol.

Thanks for the replies guys, also good start on your build nick.

Seems like you have the shock issue covered. so just an idea, for the front to rear unlevel, how about doing a bevel body lift. leave the front alone, and just ad additional body mounts, or washers, to the rear, working your way to the stock front, and just modify the rear bumper brackets. just my .02

I put in Rancho RS5034 shocks in the rear, and RS5012 shocks in the front. They were fairly cheap(about $275 on sale), and readily available. They are a little stiff for daily use, but they do very well on gravel roads and off-road.

dont do a half body lift, just add shackles or a add a leaf. mine was the same way. i would get shocks for the front first, rancho are good and the skyjacker hydros are decent too. get them on sale, like diata said, probably wont cost you more than 275$

Hey guys sorry for the lack of updating, but I've been really busy at work and all. Got the shocks on, can't remember the part# but they are ranchos 15" of travel, and it almost can get the best of them... I have about 2" of travel left on them compressed and 1.5" depressed I was pretty impressed. It still has some loose ends that need to be tied together like new a master cylinder, front driveshaft, highsteer etc.... also plan on going hydro assist after pricing dual steering stabilizer kits. It does great on smooth roads but offroad, or on old back roads it can get abit hairy. Pretty much been dding it since i posted the picture of it finished. The front springs have settled quite abit, and doesnt look too bad plus i tried driving it a few days with blocks on the back just to see if i wanted it level and not baja leaning.... the handling took a pretty noticeable downgrade, so... believe i'm going to leave it alone. Thanks guys! I'll try to keep y'all updated on the coming improvements :)
