Default 97 4x4 jimmy 4 door

97 4.3L vortec fits, had to modify breather just abit. ac lines caused an elevation issue

gotta love that look
well, it started out its life as a 4 door jimmy, 4x4....i found it in pretty good shape, missing front cap.

and now its being transformed for another new life with quite a different look..

we are closing in on finishing a 10 month conversion, putting the chassis under a 1954 Dodge Town Panel

fresh engine rebuild, fresh 4L60E xmsn, r/r front suspension, new brakes thru out,

no bolt untouched... the 97 body leaving its chassis
its on now....
firewall of 97 to be used, watch closely
fits rather snug, but thats always good
trimming is complete
the fit under the 54 windshield is exactly the same, 1/2 inch bead even across the bottom of the glass, rubber should close nicely
this gap has been welded, closed forever
rear floor of jimmy now installed, i hated the wooden planks, no log wagon ride for me thanx
installing next week, front suspension ongoing this weekend
