I think these will work good for the wife. Im with you Don, new rubber is always exciting lol. I did step down from 31x10.50x15 to 235 75 15. This thing will spend more time on road than off. I got them mounted and installed today. I need to get some pics. The poor jimmy looks pretty sad right now! Its given up its drive train, bumper and now its wheels. But thats all going to change soon!

Time to update this thread I guess. Had a few issues with the blazer. It was throwing a bunch of trans codes and only had 2nd and 3rd gear. Also the would not turn all the way off and release. After some research I found the ignition switch was bad. I got that replaced and everything is good to go! It's going in the shop this week so I can check everything out on it. The wife is driving it from home, Idaho to Wisconsin and back the end of the month. So fingers crossed all goes well. We have put a few thousand miles on it since I got it back on the road and I'm confident that it will make the trip no problem.

Time to update this one I guess. The blazer is now the wife's primary vehicle since her car is down. It has been doing good so far other than a few minor issues. Ignition switch, shift cable and today upper rad hose. Hopefully it stays trouble free until I can get her car fixed.

The black blazer has been designated the hunting rig this year.
