CAI
Homemade bumpers
2dr tire rack or homemade
Winch

Sounds like a good plan to me!

Thanks. The blazer is the reason that I'm doin a SFA swap but I'm gonna only run 35" tires. I didn't get a chance to get any pics before it got dark.

So I've gotta question for the guys running 85-91 Dana 44 waggy axles. I can't figure out how to do the steering. I plan on running ORD SFA kit and Rancho 44044 springs and soa. So I'm wanting to know how to do the steering and what shocks y'all are using? Also how did you setup your rearend and what shocks are y'all using? I searched but couldn't come up with anything.

Well half being out at a buddy's "junk yard" today searching for stuff to use for the swap I saw his moms totaled 95 Honda passport I got to looking at the rear axle and noticed it was a d44. So I did a quick search on the net and then realized I could use it with the waggy d44 front. He let me have it for $150 with a $10 holding charge. So when ever it warms up I'm gonna go get it.

Been debating about building a prerunner type bar to hold some offroad lights. What do y'all think

With those springs SOA Id say Astro box and pitman + some type of high steer arm to run crossover steering.

Shocks can be run many ways... SOA the stock mounts will probably be too low, so you'll have to weld on new mounts / mount to the spring plates. I recommend the f250 shock towers for the frame...

I ran many different shock setups on mine but finally settled on Skyjacker monotubes, just measured what i needed and used their catalog to order based on length.

I do plan on using high steering arm. Is there away I can use the stock steering box I just put a new box on and really don't want to replace it again

Yeah you could use the stock box but the angle probably won't be very good with those springs SOA, even with a drop arm... probably end up with lots of bumpsteer.

I'm running a stock style zq8 box and crossover steering on mine but I'm SUA and pretty low.

Like Kyle said the astro box will be the better way to go with soa. I have an astro box with a flat pitman and my drag link and tie rod are almost parallel. I have no bump steer at all with my setup.
