Oh I love that! I have a long list of small obscure lakes in North Idaho I want to find where to go fly-fishing.

Was the Tahoe too big?
Good hoppy and perfect little trucks for it.
Yeah lots of really narrow trails that I was unable tto get the tahoe down, the blazer is perfect for it. More narrow than most rigs.
the tahoe was amazing, was more solid then the blazer in every way more just a very heavy truck for wheeling and parts are significantly more expensive.
we have pretty dense forests and lots of technical off roading so just made more sense for me.
Nice looking rig. I agree with you on the trails in backwoods BC. There's a few that I've been on where a full size truck would be impossible. Some beautiful country back in there.
It was a couple years ago that being smaller was definitely a good thing when I found myself on the wrong side of a locked gate! Because I was in my Blazer I was able to sneak around where a full-sized truck would not have been able to go.
Nice rig I am working on my 2005 Jimmy, just put the RC lift kit in, Not overly impressed but like you said it is pretty much the only option for now.I am going to add the PA body lift in the next couple weeks. Looking at tires and a gear change to 4:10. If I don't like this I may do a SAS on it next winter. Where abouts are you Located In the "backwoods" I'm in Mission but have a place north of kamloops towards barriere. Just a little further north and I am on the fishing Hwy.
