Make sure the two tabs on the bottom of the headlight are locked in. There is 2 openings on the radiator support those tabs stick in. You may have to take your grill back off. It makes fixing the lights easier.
Good looking truck, by the way!

thanks for the tip with that. i think i figured it out though, I got them close enough for now. On a side note, I got way sidetracked and removed the chrome headlight surrounds (god that was tough hah). I started painting them white as well:
Just sanding, cleaning, priming:

put a couple coats of primer on and was left with this, pretty smooth:

put one coat of white on tonight, which was enough for the night as I was feeling impatient (never a good thing when painting...):

these are what I'm using. A gallon of Goof-Off is the best $19 you'll ever spend:

Nice, don't forget salvage yards for the bumper. You can pick those up a lot cheaper at a salvage yard and I've seen a lot of 90-2000s model blazers at the ones down here. Its damn near impossible to find a K5 for parts. But I bet you my paycheck if you find one at the salvage you'll save over 150-250 bucks by getting one from there rather than www.lmctruck.com

you should get these rims and lift your truck a little, that would look sick.
kind of reminds me of the opposite my truck used to be a while ago...
