Good looking little truck - I have owned a couple of the 1st gen 2 doors and really liked bot of them - Had a 1985 & a 1988 - Both 2wd.

It has been a while i havent updated this

I wish i could carry on with mods but like they say repairs come 1st

well I repaired my rear window struts and re soldered the rear defrost wire also repaired the window hinge i broke while removing the glass
Turns out i need to replace the defroster switch

Also have the new starter to be put in since the old ones sticking


After my birthday of this month I plan to upgrade my headlights with h4 conversions and im going to be putting 80 wat bulbs in them

recent update

Got the starter in and the defroster switch

I fixed the sticky starter but not the click click every once in a while trying to start it

so far i replaced the pos cable and it did it again so neg cable will be replaced soon also

i also fixed my center console bracket and fixed the broken plastic piece from the driver side seat thanks from the pick and pull my friend found

any ways i think the h4 conversion mod is on hold =(

 

coming along very nice can't wait to see what you do next btw I never noticed the headlight guards until I read your build thread lol

 

I might be ordering H4 conversion headlights tomorrow

with brighter bulbs 100/90w white bulbs
