Good gawd that's a serious crimper. As someone who has tried to crimp wire like that with vice grips (unsuccessfully) I am very impressed with those crimps.

They're a must with this kind of work. I got tired of using my hammer crimper.

More updates.

Got 8 runs of 0ga front to back done. Have a few more things I want to do to become more comfortable with it. It was bitch to run on the exhaust side plus the 4wd. Nothing is easy in this ****.

Getting it stripped down

Foam

Cutting it open!

Yes, they're as long as they look.

Ground runs

One of those runs is strait off the alt.

Missing the inner fender well on this side well splash part of it... Soooo, KOB zip ties and mustache tape it is.

Yes it looks horrible right now.

More to do. Needed to up grade the highs bad.

Putting the tweeter in the stock location.

This was fun. The tweeter wires are the nice blue ones.

The stocks are a little beat up.

Much better

Got that redneck going.

And some redneck rappin

I'm loving how the comps sound so far!

Sorry for the delayed responses and updates.

But I have a temp sub stage in the works. two of my 18s on about 5k

Cool build. I'm not going as crazy as that, but maybe (4) 15's. I do have a couple of questions for you:
-Did you have to regulate the alternator? Is the 15+ volts your gauge is reading bad for it?
-How does the foam work? Does it make it more solid sounding and not echoey?
-Are you going to "line" the rest of the interior with some sort of sound deadener? Have you ever used just rubberized undercoating? Or liquid bed liner?

Can't wait to see the finished product...may have to ride over and look at it in person. I'm only about 2 hours away.

4 15's will be much easier. Kinda wish I would have got 15s lol.

For the alt, it has an internal regulator. My gauge only reads 14.1-14.2 I will say, I don't suggest charging higher than 14.8 daily. 15.5 is ok if you're doing a quick burp.

The foam helps strengthen then panels and take some resonation out of it. Really helps more with strength though.

Yes I will be adding a lot deadener. I'm a firm believer in adding the proper amount deadener. Most likely alpha damp and stinger roadkill expert.
