Body lift?
I going to be installing a body lift in my 05 blazer 2dr 4wd in the next couple weeks or so, now ive had a buddy that works into a welding shop fab it up for me for next to nothing, im just wondering what am i going have to look out for when i does it, and what do i do with the rad drop it to, i was told to just take off the shroud, its only a 2'' body lift and new bumper brakets... any helpfull info?

I dont remember doing any mods to the radiator. On the fan shroud requires a spacer so it doesn't hit the fan. but I didn't bother with that. I just eliminated the lower fan shroud. I daily drive my truck and never had over heating issues. Look for the installation directions of the BDS or Performance Accessories body lift and follow that they say while using your fabricated parts.

ok on my four door there are (2) front bumper (6) on the sides by rockers (2) above rear axle and then (2) by rear bumper..the shroud fix is basically i bolt with a steel tube about 2" give take i guess ..really didnt measure it. (4) of them.
i bought my kit off craiglist, so i contacted PA and found out that any shop that does lifts can order indv. parts...a spacer (2"x3") for instance was 5.00 at local shop. after doing the lift i think it would have not been to hard to just fab up the kit buying parts this way. the bolts would have been hard to find though, no one around me carried them long enough. i would download the bds pdf file go through the parts manifest on the back and should be good to go.
