Default Body lift?

I going to be installing a body lift in my 05 blazer 2dr 4wd in the next couple weeks or so, now ive had a buddy that works into a welding shop fab it up for me for next to nothing, im just wondering what am i going have to look out for when i does it, and what do i do with the rad drop it to, i was told to just take off the shroud, its only a 2'' body lift and new bumper brakets... any helpfull info?

I dont remember doing any mods to the radiator. On the fan shroud requires a spacer so it doesn't hit the fan. but I didn't bother with that. I just eliminated the lower fan shroud. I daily drive my truck and never had over heating issues. Look for the installation directions of the BDS or Performance Accessories body lift and follow that they say while using your fabricated parts.

just did mine, was a piece of cake...just follow instructions and take your time..double check the steps as you go. real easy....thought it would be hard..guess i was lucky

thanks of the tips, but what kinda spacers do you use for your rad. any pics of them so i can get an idea to make em up, or buy them lol

quick question for anyone, ive crawled up under the blazer and had a look for body mounts only found 10 and i was told that there is 12 in the 2dr and 14 on 4dr is that right? and if im missing any where would i find them? lol

ok on my four door there are (2) front bumper (6) on the sides by rockers (2) above rear axle and then (2) by rear bumper..the shroud fix is basically i bolt with a steel tube about 2" give take i guess ..really didnt measure it. (4) of them.
i bought my kit off craiglist, so i contacted PA and found out that any shop that does lifts can order indv. parts...a spacer (2"x3") for instance was 5.00 at local shop. after doing the lift i think it would have not been to hard to just fab up the kit buying parts this way. the bolts would have been hard to find though, no one around me carried them long enough. i would download the bds pdf file go through the parts manifest on the back and should be good to go.

once i gets everything straighted out and the garage cleared out to start this progect ill make sure to take some pics and post em...
