Default Build of THE B3AST updated 12/28

Updated December 2011

Build thread for The B3AST.

2009

2010

Gave the bumper a slightly more aggressive look.

Painted rear tailgate carpet... will probably do this to all the carpet trim on the doors.

Painted my stock wheels black and red. I think I saw a Blazer with rims like this when I was a kid, long before we even got the blazer. I have no idea how I remember that either...

2011

Relocated my licence plate with a homemade mount (old HP printer tray and some wood FTW)

Got these Camaro rims from eBay for $270 (including shipping) and painted them black.

Started painting my truck using the $50 (which soon turned into $100) paint job technique.

Tried an experiment on my grill, which I don't really like. It looks good from a'far but up close it looks bad.

Having some fun in the yard

Removed that fender trim. I hated it! needs cleaning and/or painting (hope not) though.

off with the running boards! lol I think it'd look so much cleaner without them. Just my opinion though. It's your truck so you do what you want with it.

X2 on getting rid of the running boards. I too had them come with my Blazer when I bought it. The very first thing I did was take off the running boards and brackets. Made it look way to much like a family vehicle. Just my opinion though, it's your truck and it looks good which ever way you want to represent it.

I feel as though adding another comment about removing the running boards is unneeded, oh well. REMOVE 'EM! lol
