I have a 99 blazer 4 door 4wd that's pretty stock except for taillights. I have seen some builds and I love the way some of them come out, but I have no idea where to start. I'd like to start off with cheap things and do the more expensive things later on. Any ideas on where I should start?

 

Well it is your blazer so nobody can tell you really where to start. It also depends on what you want to do with it. Mine is a daily driver and I just tinker with stuff when I find time. Do you want a stereo? Audio upgrades are where a lot of people start since they are easy to do. Some people start out by fixing whatever isn't working and then going from there. One of my first upgrades was converting my blazer to electric fans. Read through some builds and see if there is anything you want to do. Nobody should be offended if you steal their ideas.

 

im the same way with mine... dont really have the cash to go big yet but im just doing cosmetics for now... my next big parts will be shackles and control arms... maybe a new set of torsion keys. but so far maintenance is halting any big purchases... and now also starting to think about a second vehicle
