Looks pretty bada$$ like it is, almost like the bumper on georgeblazah's. I dont too much like the top bar in the sketch but who knows with some good offroad lights it might just look ok

that design looks cool indeed. but it might be just a little much for a blazer. thats a lot of metal and wieght to add on. and do you really need all that protection? though i do think it would look amazing on a lifted 2500 HD with the 6.0L vortec. but it looks good so far, im very interested to see how it turns out.

X2... i like the look but that sucker is going to weigh a LOT, 2nd gen blazers have weak front ends as it is IMO
adding 200+ lbs to the very front is tough
i'm thinking of building a tube frame out of DOM & skinning it with aluminum & have a provision for a receiver hitch, maybe pockets for lights etc... the tubing will be the strength & the aluminum will nice it up... bit it won't be shiney aluminum, it'll get powder coated matte black or something the like

Nice, I have wanted to do something similar to mine. I really like the idea of the removable guards though.

I had setup an autocad drawing to something similar but my fabricator (fiancee's father) didnt wanna do it.... Turns out he did almost the same bumper I wanted just without all the angles.... (on his 83 ford...)
