Can I put the motor from my 2000 Tahoe in my 94 blazer

Default Can I put the motor from my 2000 Tahoe in my 94 blazer

I have a 94 blazer with a blown motor and a 2000 Tahoe with a bad frame can I take the intake off the 94 and put it on the 2000 and put it in my blazer and what other problems may I run into they both have the 5.7 and the blazer has a 700r4 for a trans

Intake bolt pattern in the heads is different.

I believe that the 2000 Tahoe would have an LS based small block while your '94 would have a gen 1 small block. If that is the case, then there really isn't anything that is compatible between the two.
