Default Converting my 98' Blazer to an 03' Trailblazer floorshifter

Hiya Guy's 😃 . I picked up a pretty decent 98' Blazer a few months ago for $700 & other than the normal Issues it's a pretty good rig & it has a lotta potential. Naturally being a mechanic, hot rodder & an off road kind of a guy I just don't know how to leave anything stock regardless what it is 😋 .
I have some of the usual upgrades for it like a cold air intake, throttle body spacer, throttle body blade mod, cat delete kit & a warlock muffler.

unfortunately before I got started with the upgrades the factory column shift assembly broke on it. After looking at it I came to the conclusion that it's Bantha foo doo 💩, and whoever designed it needs drug out in the street, beat with a stop sign and left bleeding in the Moonlight 😋 .

it's simply an overdesigned pile of 💩 imo, so I decided to do the right thing and convert it from column shift to floor shift. After doing a little research I picked up a 4-speed floor shifter from an 03' Trailblazer since they share the same shift cable and 4L60E trans. I already have the driver's seat out and I'm going to try and work it into the factory console if possible. If not I might get froggy and go get the center console out of the Trailblazer the shifter came out of.

either way since this is my first post I wanted to say hello, I'll Get'R done, post some pics and move on to bigger and better things, Thanks Guy's 😇😇 ...
