Well, it's going to be a little while before I can get this finished. I just ordered a couple new bearings for the rear axle. They will probably be here Monday or Tuesday. So, I should be able to get this done Tuesday or Wednesday, maybe earlier. I'm off on the 19th, so that may be the day of it's maiden voyage under my ownership (maybe sooner, depending how quickly these new bearings get shipped out). I'll keep you guys updated.

I was going to just clean them up. The bolts on the wheels are in great shape. They're just a little dirty and have surface rust. Nothing worth getting replaced. I'll probably do that while I'm waiting on the bearings.

Ugg! Just one thing after another!

I got the bearings in today, but I couldn't work on it because I had to work. So, I got home and got the bearings installed and got everything put together, only to find out not more than 3 minutes ago that the chain is too short that goes from the shaft to the rear axle. WHAT?!?!

I didn't change a thing! Why is it, that suddenly the chain is too short? Grr! lol. Walmart carries bike parts, so I'm going to go in there tomorrow after work (out at 3pm EST) and see if I can buy just a link. If not, I'll be buying a whole new chain.

This is the last thing that I need to do to get this thing done and rolling. Sigh.

You can use Windows Movie Maker to put the clips together. That's what I used to make the video of my circuits around Watkins Glen International race track.

First, I tried using Windows Live MovieMaker and it won't work for me. Like it's bugged or something. Totally annoying.

Second, yeah, I found that out myself. My Uncle made the discovery when he was checking out the vid that I made that you guys saw. Silly me, I put the jackshaft on the wrong way. It's fixed now though.
