Coming soon to a Blazer near and dear to me, is Nerf bars, Front Bull bar, with two additional lights, 2" body lift, torsion tweak, rear shackles, undercoat visible frame showing black, and then 31/10.50/15 tires. These are a bit small.

also, the exhaust has a cleared cat, and a walker quiet flow muffler. the exhaust guy said that even though we don't have vehicle inspection if FL. he could not cut out or clear the cat. i said i would be right back... nope not what you think. i went to Krispy Kreme doughnuts, bought two dozen, and a cardboard box thing of coffee, and lots of sugar, and carried them back. he put it on the rack, cut the parts, and while he and his fellow shop guys were enjoying krispy kremes, i cleared the cat. he welded it all back together, and it sounds/ and runs great. very quiet, only slightly louder than stock, but no reverb like a flowmaster or turbo. just a tad deeper. I do have an SES light because of the cat, but after checking it many times, that is all it is. i can live with the light. i have seen NO decrease in gas mileage at all.

The next thing to tackle is a wheel issue. the front fender i had to (tweak a little before i painted, because even with 235/75/15 tires, with not very much backspacing on the wheels themselves, on a hard turn on an incline or bump, they would rub a little. the fender massage fixed it, but i want larger tires (hense the upcoming lifts). but my question is this. all 4 wheels are identical, but the front tires stick out further than the back ones. i have rotated the tires/wheels myself, and check all 4 rims, and they are identical.. is the front wider than the rear? i have been looking at other blazers around town, and i have noticed that even stock wheels stick out more in front.. any input is appreciated.

While flushing and replacing coolant. i also ordered and installed a "fail safe" 180 thermostat. it seems to like this slightly cooler temp level much better.

Yes, the front tires stick out in the front more than the back on all blazers. Lot's of people run wheel spacers to even it out.

I like the colour, looks good. Not a fan of the decal.

Nice to see a blazer brought back from the dead.

Ok this weekend had me installing a new water pump. I also took the front back off, and blacked out the chrome on it. (front bumper, grill, headlights, badges, etc.) also a light coating of nightshades on the front and rear turn lens. Then a couple of coats of clear over the lenses..

I am still trying to trade my custom wheels and tires, for some factory ones. Hoping someone on carigslist wants some custom wheels. i want factory ones, to install larger tires, without any additional lift. these set out so far, almost no backspacing......
