then i decided to tried to make my own trail realizing it was a drop off and i was stuck for 4 hours

then i decided to play in some more mud the next weekend

then i decided to go offroading in guelph

then i started to add some recovery gear to the roof

then that night i decided to take some pics of my lights

now i removed my spare tire from the roof to add a rear 2 door spare tire carrier. it wasnt as hard as i thought it would be but i cried a little drilling into my quarter panels.

then i got my boss to tint my front windows to match my rears and i polished the truck

next i picked up a set of nissan pathfinder tail light gaurds for 15 bux and decided to modify them to fit mine

there are the gaurds installed and i also installed a roof rack i got from princess auto on sale for 100 bux

next i got a friend to make me a 1/4 thick winch plate for my ramsey patriot 9500 winch

testing the winch up hill

then i decided to enter my truck into a local mudfest called gopher dunes in concord ontario. it consisted of many off road rigs for trails and mud pits. heres mine

heres some movies from gopher dunes

after the event i realized i needed to upgrade my electrical system for a optima red top battery and the big 3 wire upgrade

then shorty after i was drying my carpets and the worse happend
a extension cord shorted out and caused my trucks interior to catch fire completely blowing out my driver rear window and cracked my front windsheild.

i wasnt coverd for fire damage so i had to rebuild the truck from scratch by gutting every peice of interior out including carpet. i cleaned all the windows and installed a new rear window,i then gravel gaurded and used roll on bedliner on all the exposed metal parts of the truck inside and rebuit the interior with a donor truck.
heres a carpet i picked up from a local scrap yard before

after

heres the interior rebuilt

the total cost to rebuild the interior was 1300 dollors
shortly after that i recived my urithane body mounts in the mail and also did the throttle body mod

then the next day my performance accessories body lift came in the mail and i installed everything the following weekend

heres my tuck with the lift and body lift vs. my cousins stock jimmy

2 weeks later i went offroading with the local jeep club to breslau

it was a very bad day for me offroading. i went down a gravel path and the soil gave way almost causing me to roll down the hil and would have never been able to get the truck back. shortly after trying to climb a hill i ended up breaking the transmission so i had to winch my self out and managed to get it into drive to go home. that week i had someone install a used transmission into my truck for 650 and 4 days later it broke again. so i decided to upgrade and took the truck to mr transmission to have the transmission rebuilt with new clutchs, harded sunshell, new servos, corvette servo and a transmission oil cooler and 3 year warrenty for 3200 dollors
heres the transmission cooler from b&m

i then found a pair of s10 z85 rear leafs and a extra add a leaf and ford preload heavy duty leaf for 40 bux. i then purchased new u bolts for 52 bux

heres a pic of me and my buddy after i just installed the lights on his bumper and took the front plastic valience off. we also used my winch cable as a dog leash

i then had to notch the rear plastic trim peices as i didnt realize the s10 leafs move my axle back a inch. i then relocated the charcol canister to the undercarriage. and then i decided to test the flex

i then noticed with the leafs at full flex the shackles where hitting the trailer hitch so i decided to make a custom rear bumper

i added 2x 20 000 pd tow points and made a bracket for the lisence plate and the factory plate lights. i then wired up a waterproof 6 pin trailer adaptor
then i decided to make custom fender flares from garden trim to keep the local police from bothering me

i then removed the bush bar and added 2x 12 inch custom recivers with reciver shackles

here are the finished tow hooks and i recently added the lights near the window. i was inspired from a member on the forums to do the idea.

next i purchased a b&m oil cooler and a spare oil block and some heavy duty 3/8 hydralic hose to make a custom oil cooler. im removing the factory intercooler design to make a aux air cooled oil cooler. here is the block and i plan on tapping threads to 3/8 to fit a barb to run the lines to the oil cooler.

i will post more pics of progress along the way. i am also building a custom front stinger bar out of 1-3/4x.120 steel ill post pics as well when the design starts.
