This is my first car I have bought for myself. She is a 2002 Blazer LS, with 115xxx miles on her. Bought it back in 2013 with 98xxx miles. I have not done much to her, due to college and not having much money. I am slowly starting to do some things, such as painting, intake, and interior changes. Like I said not much has been done to it but keep a look out for changes. Here are some pictures from when I first purchased her.

Here is the first thing that I have done. Just a simple paint job on the front bumper and grille. I also took off the bug guard on the hood.

Here is my new air filter I put in my blazer. Sort of like a SRI but on the DIY side. Got these parts for free from my job. (Perks of working at a Salvage Yard)

As for this past two weeks I repainted my rear bumper and side covers. It started out as replacing a side cover(passengers side) for the simple reason that two winters ago coming home from work with winter snow boots on, I was parking my car on the street where it was plowed and there was a snow bank behind me that was all icy. Well my foot slipped of the brake and hit the gas and I slammed into the bank. So I finally got a new cover (pewter) and got to work. I ground my steel bumper down from rust and roughed up the surface of the bumper and painted that semi-gloss black. Along with the side covers after roughing up the paint and sanding smooth. Take a look.

It looks really good so far. I always thought black and red was a good combination.

Tajohns34... Thanks! I really like the black and red. The grille was chrome and I hated it so much. Sooo I fixed that. I have to repaint it though because I didn't do such a good job the first time on sanding it down and now the paint is coming off. Plus, you can not really tell, but the front bumper and grille are just a tad different shades of black than the rear bumper and covers. So that will be a project soon before it gets cold out. Keep a look out for more changes. I might have a surprise for this weekend or for Monday/Tuesday.

Got a roof basket for the blazer today. My little update for the weekend. Also got a third bar from my work for the middle of the basket to keep the middle of it from bending in. Then I threw my spare tire up there and strapped her down.
