first blazer, first chevy
hey everybody
this is my first adventure into bowtie land i'm predominantly a ford guy but some deals are just to good to pass up. i got this lovely 79 k5 blazer at an abandoned vehicle auction, i've had it home a day now and have bypassed the ignition and steering lock and while trying start it with a jump it just wouldn't turn strong enough to kick over. it's a 350 with alot of visable after market parts so i think i might just be suffering from some high compression which isn't all that bad. I'll keep ya'll posted.

Welcome,
and if you don't have a key, may I suggest a lock smith?
They really don't cost that much and it may save you on the damage.
