I introduced myself a bit yesterday. Now it is time to introduce my car, well, one of my two cars.
This one, I bought a year ago, but there showed up much rust and damaged body parts when taking the fenders off to refresh them. Also the engine is loosing oil and there is a bit work to do to the suspension.
All in all I decided to take a second one, origin for spare parts, but then I found a car of 2000, without front body parts, for 500 bucks. Engine running, frame in much better condition then the one of my 1998, and the body is also nearly free from any rust. Also the right side wall isn't damaged, where the tire carrier has been mounted. Also there are brown leather rear seats in it, which I think aren't OEM, and so, the front seats will be also covered with this leather.
But first things first.
I will totally clean up the mess on the 2000 one. Take all interior parts away, so the windows and the doors. Than took the body apart from the frame and dismount the engine and gearbox.
From then on, I will try to clean up the frame, and paint it with some anti-rust paint, and then two layers of Raptor Bed Liner in Black. I will renew the hole front end with all *****. New anchor blades, new brakes, new suspension.
Then I planned to totally refresh the engine, so, all sealings etc..
The body will also be totally dispainted, then recovered where necessary and after that, I will apply two layers of anty-rust paint, and then also, 2 layers of Raptor Black. The windows will be tinted 85-90% black.
In total I planned 2 years for this. We will see what money and time will say.
Now, for the first post of this project, 2 pics of my daily driver. I will add some of the project later this day.
Stay safe .
Cheers
Tobias
Edit:
Here are two pics of my project and a pic of the leather seats I had to save.

Make sure the bed liner you're using isn't toxic. A lot of them are, and the reason why most people don't think it's such a big deal is because they're applied to open air beds. The Blazer is a enclosed space so you'd be breathing in those fumes.
Thanks for this man, I didn't mention it. You are right. The interior would be better to paint with factory Car Paint. But exterior and frame shouldn't be any problem, or should it?
By the way :
Here are the pics of the Project car, and one of the leather backseats. Couldn't live them in the messy interior.
