Hi,
after 4 weeks I returned home today...

Those are a few pics from when I drove up to the house in december. The blazer did really well in the snow. No pics of the harder parts of the trail, whe were busy with driving there:

Then I was around 4 weeks there, including skiing, snowshoeing, etc...

And from today. All the snow`s gone:

The way back:

When I drove on the highway I looked in the mirror and it looked like my car is on fire. There was white skome everything. I just thought: "Time for a headgasket job"...
Luckily there was a exit ahead, so I took it and stopped the car. I added coolant and tried it. Luckily it worked. No idea what was wrong...
10miles further my car started vibrating and ratteling badly, so I put the emergency flasher on and stopped. I saw one of my tires broken. I put on my spare and continued driving...
At home I saw that the tire is broken inside so it`s bigger in diameter at one point. Because of that it rubbed and destroyed my rear flare, those where the vibrations I noticed...

Here you can see it a bit:

But, it was a great trip...

holy cow, you have an amazing looking blazer! I love the tent. I want to get something like that. How bad was the damage on the flare?

Sounds like a Sherman Tank coming up the hill! Awesome! What a beautiful place you have to ride!

The flare is not to bad, thats good. The tire looks like it shifted or broke a belt inside that sucks. But, the pictures are awsome.
