Mounted my laptop charger today. It has velcro on both sides:

What about a HUD?

Well, the HUd was just playing around, but worked well. There`s an iPhone app called iHUD, you just start the app and lay your iPhone in front of the steering wheel and you have a HUD. Works great at night, but i don`t see any necessity for it...

Do you remember those two guys?

I said sorry to them today and put them back on. Due the added weight and the airshocks the car started bouncing a good amount in the rear. I thought why not use those two shocks that were laying around...

Mockup:

Upper mounting brackets primered:

Mounted:

Everything finished:

This was a great mod, it drives like a new car now. Great... :wings:

Also gave the spare rim a shot black:

Good work! Hopefully mounting the air shocks upside down doesn't come back to bite you (broken air line and/or blown bladder).

Not sure on the weight, but i plan on weighting it fully loaded before the next trip...

The only thing i can do is hope that they hold up upside down, because there's no way to mount them the right way.
My biggest fear is that little stones and dirt get trapped between the shock body and the airbag and rub leaks in the airbag. Not sure how to prevent this, but maybe they hold up either way...
