Looks good! I really like how you angled them. Have you considered putting an angle on the bottom of the ends to help slide over obstacles a little easier?

cut the angle in the extension. made a 2 inch by 2 inch cap. ground an angle on all the ends making a v where they meet, welded and ground them down

These are the pieces I made and used. Ground an angle on all the edges before butt welding them together. The mounting brackets I got from trail gear.com on ebay. Suppose you could just direct to their sight. I put the angles on because I cut the the main pipe to short doh! But now I like this set up






I used cardboard to make the pattern for the angles on the pipe before welding them. propped the slider up in place first using jack stands

Think I`ll leave them chrome for a while, see if it grows on me. We have a company here in town that does it professionally
