thought id start a build thread for my 99 jimmy
pretty much stock except for a rearend from a 2005 with a gu6 g80 and a magnaflow muffler

got her in the garage and it started to **** out gas right above the gas tank as soon as i was lining it up on the hoist
and four of the bolt heads for the gas tank skid plate pretty much crumbled so ended up ripping it off by the back bumper

took the rear calipers off to get rebuilt and i also need to address this... and no not the stitches on the bumper lol


gonna replace the rear brake line as theres 2 spots that i dont like
rear shackles are in the mail and im searching for some tires

thanks man, if it all works out like ive planned in my head should be pretty sweet when done

Looking good. I like the two doors. I always wanted one myself. Redoing rusty brakes are never fun. good luck with the project.

i HATE brake lines, if it didnt need all of them replaced i would of had a shop do it
mastercraft went back and i picked up a Lincoln 140 today

and also got some rims/tires today

Lincoln is such a good machine i have a gas ranger 250 such a heavy beast but it fits all my welding needs


this one is just a picture i have mine set up in my shed where i have all my tools atv and lawn mower
Mine is set up for my dads pickup also when he needs it

ya 31x10.5 on Pro Comp D window steelies(15"x 8")
i cant wait to get my shackles in either but not looking forward to doing it, gonna soak mine for a week or 2 aswell as my body mounts.....
