Default Jamaroon's ZR2

So this is my 1999 ZR2 Blazer. Bought it in Nov of 2010.

Bone stock except for 31x10.5 Wrangler MT/R's and the front t-bars were cranked, not sure why.

First mod I did was replace the front tow hooks with custom made shackle mounts from a buddy of mine that was making a new bumper for his blazer.

The fender flares weren't in great shape paint wise, and there were large portions of the rockers and lower third of the body missing paint with some surface rust. Cleaned it up and used spray can bed liner to freshen things up, also added an extra leaf to the rear at this point.

Next I put on some carbon fibre tail lights

Loved it till the taillights. Just not at all a fan of CF stuff. Otherwise it looks great man! What other plans do you have for it?

Now it was time to go bigger, installed a 2" PA body lift

Bought a set of 5 Z28 wheels and cleaned them up

and bought 5 new 33x10.5 BFG KM2's

next to the old tires

installed

to fix the rubbing in the front, installed LS1 front fender flares

next, made some sway bar disconnects

and trimmed the front valance

and last mod to date, installed rear shackles

What do those shackle mounts look like? Do you have an up close pic?

I would have prefered just pure black, but these are what I found, and they are DOT approved.

other plans right now, would like an auburn ected locker at some point. Have an idea for a costum rear bumper. that's about it for now.

it's just a solid chunk of metal, shaped a bit and bolts with factory hardware.

I don't have a closer pic, I can try to get one this weekend sometime.

thanks, yours looks good too. I love the km2's, awesome tire.

the VIU here would have fun with me if my tires sticked out that far though, would get very expensive.
