as many of you may remember my previous post quite awhile ago https://blazerforum.com/forum/showth...t=noob+project well I didnt mean to disappoint anyone and I know how much you guys like your pics, well because of my work schedule (live in orlando work in Miami) I didnt have time to do anything UNTIL NOW. I just recently lost my job and have a stack of parts so what better way to spend the time then on my truck? today I started putting the engine together and the truck is now all one color pics will be up tonight

I arranged all the pics in my photobucket album so they are kind of a timeline of the things I have done with my truck since the day I brought the engine home

I'm undecided on the black and white flat paint scheme. different, but "doesn't feel right" but not in a bad way (imho)

as for the engine... that looks F-ing AWESOME!

Boo...looks like the office finally blocked photobucket content lol. I was wondering how long it would take. That explains why I can't see a lot of pics and sigs on the site today...

damn man....

I put my finger on it. the b&w job made it look like a lego cop car.

fresh paint makes everything look nice, but that engine is just tastey painted up like that

well the latest update is... I had some 20" wheels for my truck that had no bolt pattern drilled out so I had a buddy take them to his cousins machine shop to get drilled to fit my bolt pattern, well the last I heard his cousin had to go out of town (Alabama) and would be back on monday the 18th. I still have not heard from him and he is not returning my calls or text messages, I am really not at a loss for money on this deal since I didnt pay for the wheels and I have not paid for the machine work yet. either way I am getting alittle pissed about the situation, he also has my high speed buffer and a large bottle of 3M micro finishing compound I let him borrow after the clear on his truck had gotten this really weird haze almost like fog embedded in it

Can I have 10 minutes in a room with that engine... alone?

But seriously nice job, can't wait to see the truck painted.

St. Cloud, eh? I'm about 45 minutes north-east of you. I like the Bravada transition, and the Small Block. Can't wait to see it finished!

no still have not got an answer on my wheels, I doubt I will ever see them again I even went to his shop and was told he wasnt available, looks like I will be moving to NY in the next couple months since unemployment doesnt pay much and I had to sink the money I had put away into my truck (trying to keep it running until I have everthing in order to swap the engine) looks like the only way I will be able to stay here is if I find a job NOW! so if anyone knows any place that is hiring in the orlando area let me know since I really dont want to move. it seems that everything bad happens at the worst possible time. first my mileage went to hell and then my truck died and wouldnt start so I pulled the plenum off to find the FPR and fuel lines were leaking so bad that there was about 2" of fuel in the intake, I just replaced the whole spider assembly about 9 mos ago. well $300 later the truck runs perfect but now the radiator cracked down the inlet side about 2" from the top all the way to the bottom so I am left with out a car until monday. I have got the engine almost ready and will have pics available in the next couple days
