thanks, realy wasnt to pricy. The ebay keys were $50, ball joint flip is free, I work ad a cadillac and gmc dealership so when I was finished with the keys and ball joint flip I aligned it for free, ZONE 2inch body lift $228 shipped, firebird rims were $220, $30 to paint them black, Tires $526 shipped to my door.
Without the free alignment the total would be around $1100. Ik not that cheap but over the course of 3 months and the major cost there is tires( which I got with my tax refund) And I mesured from the ground to the fender its at 39 inches at the front, and 40 at the back. Before the keys bl and tires I was at 32 in the front at 36 in the back. So for under $1100 I got 7 inches of lift, not bad value for money.

I dont have any but I wasnt going to spend $150 on a winch mount when I could make It for free. So heres what I did

My buddy works for the county and in a shed where they keep scrap metal they had a 25 foot long pice of 3/4inch thick and 12inches wide steel plate. I had him cut me a 3 foot pice. I do not remeber what width i needed, But I just measured from frame to frame and cut it that legnth.

Than I marked 3 holes per side, 2 were the tow hook bolt holes and 1 was a bolt for the skid plate. drilled the holes in the steel plate, and from there I mounted the winch and drilled the holes that hold the winch to the plate.

from there I got some 3/4 grade 8 bolts to hold the whinch and plate to the frame and bolted it in. From there had to modify the front bumper to clear the controller box and to get to the engagement lever. then just had to run the power and ground wires and it was done.

finished product
